Co-Ed Rookies

Age: For boys and girls who are currently enrolled in a preschool-aged program for the 2024-25 school year or are 4-years-old. (Preschool enrollment is not a requirement.)

Schedule: Rookies activities will take place from 6-7 p.m. on Mondays in June. (June 2, 9, 16, & 23)

Description: Players will be divided into teams and will participate in scripted baseball skills activities with their team. Teams will move from station to station with activities including throwing, fielding, and hitting off a tee. The competitive aspect is minimized. 

This program is meant to be a fun introduction to the game of baseball/softball. Rookies programming will be run by our American Legion and Jr. Legion players and coaches, and parents are encouraged to move to each station with their children, reinforcing positive activities and providing support as needed.

Cost:

  • Early Bird Registration (Closes Feb. 15): $65
  • Final Registration (Closes March 14): $75

Co-Ed T-Ball

Age: For boys and girls currently enrolled in junior kindergarten or kindergarten for the 2024-25 school year.

Schedule: Teams will play a rotating schedule that will include games two nights per week (Mondays and Wednesdays) at either 5:30 or 6:30 p.m. Organized practices will start the week of May 5 (weather permitting), with games beginning the week of May 19 and ending by June 25.

Description: This league typically consists of 10 or more teams of both boys and girls who are learning the fundamentals of catching, fielding, and hitting from a tee. Volunteer coaches, with the support of additional parents, teach these young players basic skills and manage the game play. While teams will play against other teams, play is not competitive but rather focused on learning the game and good sportsmanship. Scores and standings are not kept.

Cost:

  • Early Bird Registration (Closes Feb. 15): $120
  • Final Registration (Closes March 14): $135

Boys Coach Pitch

Age: For boys currently enrolled in first grade for the 2024-25 school year.

Schedule: Teams will play a rotating schedule that will include games two nights per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) at either 5:30 or 6:30 p.m. Organized practices will start the week of May 5 (weather permitting), with games beginning the week of May 19 and ending by June 26.

Description: In this program, players continue to hone their fundamental skills but progress to taking pitches from a coach instead of off the tee. Volunteer coaches, with the support of additional parents, teach these young players basic skills and manage the game play. While teams will play against other teams, play is not competitive but rather focused on learning the game and good sportsmanship. Scores and standings are not kept.

Girls Coach Pitch

Age: For girls currently enrolled in first grade for the 2024-25 school year.

Boys Machine Pitch

Age: For boys currently enrolled in second grade for the 2024-25 school year. Note: This program is also suitable for 3rd graders who may not have played in previous years or whose skill set would be better served with another year of machine pitch.

Schedule: Teams will play a rotating schedule that will include games two nights per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) at 6:30 p.m. Organized practices will start the week of May 5 (weather permitting), with games beginning the week of May 19 and ending by June 26.

Description: This program typically consists of 12 or more teams where players progress from taking pitches from a coach to taking pitches from a machine. Volunteer coaches, with the support of additional parents, continue to build on skills and manage the game play. While teams will play against other teams, play is not competitive but rather focused on learning the game and good sportsmanship. Scores and standings are not kept.

Cost:

Girls Softball (2nd Grade)

Age: For girls currently enrolled in second grade for the 2024-25 school year.

Schedule: Teams will play a rotating schedule that will include games two nights per week (Mondays and Wednesdays) in either Harrisburg or Tea. Practice and game schedules will be forthcoming.

Description: This coach pitch program will include participation with teams from surrounding communities.  While teams will play against other teams, play is not competitive but rather focused on learning the game and good sportsmanship. Scores and standings are not kept.

Cost:

  • Early Bird Registration (Ends Feb. 15): $130
  • Final Registration (Closes March 14): $150

Minors Boys Baseball

Age: For boys currently enrolled in third or fourth grade for the 2024-25 school year.

Schedule: Teams will play a rotating schedule that will include games two nights per week in either Harrisburg or Tea. Organized practices will start the week of April 28 (weather permitting), with games beginning the week of May 19 and ending by mid-July. 

Description: This program typically consists of 10 or more teams. Players will continue to develop as they have the opportunity to play in multiple positions throughout the season. Games become more competitive as scores and pitch counts are kept and umpires officiate the games. However, seeding in the end of the season tournament is not based solely on team records, as the intention is for all players to continue to learn the game and develop their skills.

Cost:

  • Final Registration (Closes March 14): $190

Girls Softball (3rd & 4th Grade)

Age: For girls currently enrolled in third or fourth grade for the 2024-25 school year.

Schedule: Teams will play a rotating schedule that will include games two nights per week (Mondays and Wednesdays) in either Tea or Lennox. Practice and game schedules will be forthcoming.

Description: This program introduces players to fastpitch softball with pitches coming from a player on the opposing team. It will be coordinated with teams from a surrounding community.

  • Final Registration (Closes March 14): $190

Boys Majors Baseball

Age: For boys currently enrolled in fifth or sixth grade for the 2024-25 school year.

Schedule: Teams will play a rotating schedule that will include games two nights per week in Harrisburg or Tea. Organized practices will start the week of April 28 (weather permitting), with games beginning the week of May 19 and ending by mid-July. 

Description: This program will consist of approximately 8-10 teams. Players will continue to develop as they have the opportunity to play in multiple positions throughout the season. Games become more competitive as scores and pitch counts are kept and umpires officiate the games. However, seeding in the end of the season tournament is not based solely on team records, as the intention is for all players to continue to learn the game and develop their skills.
